Jacqueline A. Horvat graduated from the University of Windsor's Faculty of Law in 2001. Prior to joining Sutts, Strosberg LLP, she articled with an Intellectual Property firm and was admitted to the Ontario bar in 2002.
Jacqueline has a broad and varied corporate/commercial litigation practice and has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in disputes involving oppression remedies, share purchase agreements, dissent and appraisal rights and commercial real estate transactions. She also has extensive experience in bankruptcy and insolvency cases as well as litigation involving allegations of product liability, negligence, breach of commercial agreements, price-fixing, civil and criminal conspiracy, fraud, interference with economic relations, misrepresentation and breach of fiduciary duty.

Jacqueline also spent several years representing the former Attorney General of Ontario before The Ipperwash Inquiry, a commission of inquiry established to inquire and report on the events surrounding the death of Dudley George, who was shot and killed during a protest by First Nations representatives at Ipperwash Provincial Park.
Jacqueline is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Essex Law Association, Intellectual Property Institute of Canada and The Advocate's Society, and is a registered Canadian Trade Mark Agent.
